چکیده
Temperature may affect the mobilization and hydrolysis of storage reserves for energy production during seed germination. This study investigated germination performance reserve in Dalbergia spruceana Benth. seeds incubation at 20, 25, 30, 35, 40°C. The process was favored by 25 to 35°C negatively affected 20 At there reduction speed, however, without significantly compromising final percentage. results showed that lipids proteins are predominant metabolites D. seeds. Mobilization soluble sugars highest 30°C. 40°C, occurred more slowly, affecting finding, combined with changes lipid protein reserves, suggests products were used starch synthesis. Reserve patterns embryos influenced temperature, utilization efficiency occurring between 35°C.

Stored proteinases and the initiation of storage protein mobilization in seeds during germination and seedling growth.
Though endopeptidases and carboxypeptidases are present in protein bodies of dry quiescent seeds the function of these proteases during germination is still a matter of debate. In some plants it was demonstrated that endopeptidases of dry protein bodies degrade storage proteins of these organelles. Other studies describe cases where this did not happen. The role that stored proteinases play in ...
متن کاملEffects of origin, seasons and storage under different temperatures on germination of Senecio vulgaris (Asteraceae) seeds
Invasive plants colonize new environments, become pests and cause biodiversity loss, economic loss and health damage. Senecio vulgaris L. (Common groundsel, Asteraceae), a widely distributing cosmopolitan weed in the temperate area, is reported with large populations in the north-eastern and south-western part, but not in southern, central, or north-western parts of China. We studied the germin...
متن کاملGermination of Croton urucurana L. seeds exposed to different storage temperatures and pre-germinative treatments.
The present work evaluated the germinability and vigor of Croton urucurana seeds. 1) Seeds were sorted by color (caramel, gray and black) and were subjected to seven different pre-germination treatments followed by incubation at 20ºC, 25°C or 20/30°C. 2) Seeds were stored in cold chambers or at room temperature for up to 300 days and were subsequently incubated at 20/30ºC in a germination chamb...
متن کاملInvestigation of degradation process of Zygophyllum fabago L. seed reserves during germination under different pH
Abstract Zygophyllum fabago L. a facultative Perennial halophyte, is grown in arid and inert areas. Due to the different acidity of the soil in natural habitats of Zygophyllum, the effect of pH on the process of seed reserves decomposition during germination was examined. The experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design with seven pH levels (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10) and f...
متن کاملeffects of different storage temperatures and times on germination and antioxidant responses of jatropha curcas seeds
the effects of different storage temperatures and times on germination rate, malondialdehyde (mda), superoxide dismutase (sod), peroxidase (pod) and catalase (cat) activities in jatropha curcas l. seed were investigated. the results showed that germination rates of seeds stored at room temperature and 4°c for 1 month was significantly higher than those stored for 3 months at -20 and -80°c. mda ...
